Small Groups

Here at Epworth UMC, we believe that being part of regular community is essential for healthy spiritual growth. Our hope is that everyone would be plugged into a small group. We may not all share the same beliefs, perspectives, or ideas, but when we share, study, and learn together, we experience growth.

Take a look at the small group offerings below. You’ll notice some are topic based while others are interest based. Don’t see one that fits what you are looking for? We are always open to new ideas!

Adult Sunday School | 9:00am-10:00am Sundays in the Library
This group discusses a variety of topics and studies depending on the time of year.

Faith and News | 9:00am-10:00am Sundays in the Gathering Space
As the name suggests, this group discusses the intersection between faith and current events. Topics vary depending on what is going on around the world!

Book Study | 1:30pm-3:00pm Tuesdays in the Conference Room
This group works through books on topics of interest, usually with an emphasis on aspects of faith that aren’t usually talked about.

Prayer Team | 10:30am-11:30am Wednesdays in the Conference Room
This group meets weekly to engage in prayer over members of the congregation and community.

Epworth Choir | 7:00pm Wednesdays in the Sanctuary
This group sings a variety of music to fit the seasons of the church. Rehearsals are roughly twice a month on Wednesdays, and they sing in worship roughly once a month.

Pastor’s Bible Study | 10:00am-11:30am Thursdays in the Conference Room
This group, led by the pastor, dives into the scripture being preached on during the upcoming Sunday’s worship.
